My husband, daughter and I went to a crab feed put on by his department last Friday. They actually had too much crab (if you can believe that), so lucky us - we got to bring home a huge aluminum pan full of dungeoness crab (the best in my opinion!)
For the next couple of days, I made dishes using the crab meat, and I thought I would share them with you!
Saturday night, I made these yummy Crab Rounds that my mom used to make. I had a heck of a time finding the recipe, searching her recipe box. A silly thought actually came into my head "Hmmm, I can hit Control F and search for it". Silly - I know. So anywhoos, on to the recipe! Feel free to print it - you can print a handy dandy recipe card thanks to Key Ingredient. I love that site!
Sunday night, we had Crab Louie with homemade Louie sauce! This is my husband's favorite, and he was just beside himself with delight. Here is the recipe for the Louie Sauce:
The Crab feed was a blast - there was a raffle, lots of wine and good people that I hadn't seen in a long time. Did I mention wine? Oh yes, I certainly did. Ummm don't drink and post on Facebook...the two don't mix!
Enjoy!

I love crab Dungeoness especially! The Crab Rounds sound like they are just my thing, I love English Muffins too!!
Boy would I LOVE these... I adore crab, but The Hubs won't eat any seafood at all, so I don't buy any. The only time I get any is when we go out to dinner.
Glad you enjoyed your crabby time!
